Accel Protection and Technologies can now remotely monitor your generator. In the past monitoring of a generator was simply installing a remote annunciator on location allowing someone onsite to remotely monitor the generator status. This application works fine for locations staffed 24/7 however on locations not staffed 24/7 there was no means of remotely monitoring the unit. Therefore, if the unit went into trouble, ran low on fuel or did not start at all it would not be known until the lack of power caused problems. Through conventional technology, Accel Engineers developed a process of monitoring the unit by means of wireless technology from the unit to the sending unit or by hardwiring directly from the unit to the sending unit. The signals are received from the unit and transmitted through conventional phone lines or by cell transmission to our monitoring center. The alarm status can also be sent directly to your PDA or cell phone in the form of text message or e-mail. This technology is not only available on larger units but on small residential units as well. Contact Accel today for more information on this exciting new development.
